Happy Halloween, everyone! I hope you're enjoying this day as much as I am, regardless of how you choose to spend it =)
I don't know if anyone's noticed, but Halloween is my favorite holiday. I'm really lucky that I'm able to spend it here at Subic, one of the few places in the Philippines where Halloween is celebrated. I'm not sure why, but there's just something that makes me feel happy about seeing the village decorated with jack-o-lanterns, cobwebs, and other 'scary' things. It's the middle of the night as I type this blog entry, and I can't help but feel excited as I look out at the window, greatly anticipating my activities for this holiday. Firstly, I plan to watch horror movies until dawn comes. Then I'll take a little nap, and after that I'll play video games with my friends and scarf down a lot of snacks! Hohoho. And when it starts getting dark, it'll be the start of our trick or treating! Yeah, I know; we're teenagers, but who cares? That won't stop us from getting our candy! Fufufu. This year I'm going as Nakahara Sunako (from Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge) in her Gothic dress. Cosplay FTW! And finally, at the end of the day, all that's left is.....CANDY CONSUMPTION~! HOATA!! The end to another awesome Halloween. {Though I hope the damn typhoon won't interfere with my plans...
