Wooosh~
I just heard about the newest typhoon that entered our country through the news. Its name is "Tino".

I felt like a bad person when my uncle and cousin glared at me when I exclaimed, "Typhoon Tino? That's AWESOME!"They just don't get it =(

Trick or Treat~!
Happy Halloween, everyone! I hope you're enjoying this day as much as I am, regardless of how you choose to spend it =)

I don't know if anyone's noticed, but Halloween is my favorite holiday. I'm really lucky that I'm able to spend it here at Subic, one of the few places in the Philippines where Halloween is celebrated.

I'm not sure why, but there's just something that makes me feel happy about seeing the village decorated with jack-o-lanterns, cobwebs, and other 'scary' things. It's the middle of the night as I type this blog entry, and I can't help but feel excited as I look out at the window, greatly anticipating my activities for this holiday.

Firstly, I plan to watch horror movies until dawn comes. Then I'll take a little nap, and after that I'll play video games with my friends and scarf down a lot of snacks! Hohoho. And when it starts getting dark, it'll be the start of our trick or treating! Yeah, I know; we're teenagers, but who cares? That won't stop us from getting our candy! Fufufu. This year I'm going as Nakahara Sunako (from Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge) in her Gothic dress. Cosplay FTW!

And finally, at the end of the day, all that's left is.....CANDY CONSUMPTION~! HOATA!! The end to another awesome Halloween.

{Though I hope the damn typhoon won't interfere with my plans... This is one of the few times of the year when I can not be invisible and just have fun~}

TRICK OR TREAT~!

POOF!
I'm the type of person who has a lack of presence in real life. People would often forget that I'm there, and would freak out when I suddenly talk and declare that I've been there for some time now. I'm the editor-in-chief of our school newspaper, but most people don't even know who I am. Sometimes my teachers would list me as 'absent' when I'm actually there.

Kinda sad, right?

That's what I thought as well... But then I started reading Kuroko no Basket.

I discovered that Kuroko's the same kind of person as I am. Invisible. Unnoticed. Yet he's able to utilize that lack of presence and awesome perception to become a great basketball player in terms of support and double-play.

That made me realize that my invisibility does have its benefits.

When I told my teachers that I was never absent (since they questioned how I was able to submit tests and activities even though they listed me as 'not there'), they began to always list me as present...even when I'm actually absent XD I stay unnoticed when I fall asleep in class. Privacy is ALWAYS there. And just recently:

It was the day of our midterm in accounting, and it's a strict policy that whoever isn't wearing their ID will not be allowed to take the test. Nine students were not able to take the exam because of said reason, yet I was able to. Yes, I did stupidly forget my own ID, and no one noticed. It was awesome.

So yeah, sometimes being invisible is just what people need.

POOF!

Because I haven't posted in a while...
...I shall post a little piece of randomness.

So I used to have this habit of writing about special moments that occur throughout the day on random pages of my notebooks, and I was sifting through said notebooks and I found this:

"12,aug,09. 7:22 AM = Sean approached David, the guy sitting next to me, and said: Pa-kiss naman. (NOTE: I think this translates in English to "Give me a kiss." Eh. I suck at my native language >.<) Sean then kissed David's cheek, and walked away..."

I love these moments.
